The basics

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal company name], [registered address], which runs Fridge Club. By creating an account, you agree to them. You need to be at least 18 to hold an account.

Your account and family links

Keep your login details to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. Each plan includes two full seats for the grown-ups who run the week.

Family links let kids, grandparents or a babysitter add things to your week. Anyone with the link can add to it, so share it only with people you trust. [You can turn a link off at any time. Confirm.] You’re responsible for what gets added through your links.

Trial and subscription

New accounts start with two Sundays free, which works out to [14 days]. [State whether a card is needed to start the trial, and what happens when it ends.]

After the trial, Fridge Club costs $39 a year or $5.99 a month, in US dollars, plus any taxes that apply where you live. [Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Confirm.] We’ll email you a reminder before your trial ends [and before each yearly renewal].

If we ever change the price, we’ll tell you at least [30] days in advance, and the new price only applies from your next billing period.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel anytime from your account settings. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. [Refund policy, including what happens to the rest of a yearly plan.]

Your content

Your family’s week belongs to you: the names, events, notes and pages you create. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run Fridge Club for you, for example to lay out and save your page. We don’t sell it, and we don’t use it for advertising. Our privacy policy explains the details.

Using Fridge Club fairly

Please don’t:

  • use Fridge Club for anything illegal, or to harass or harm anyone,
  • try to break into, overload or disrupt the service,
  • copy, scrape or resell Fridge Club or its designs,
  • share family links publicly or use them to add things you shouldn’t.

Printing, AI and voice

You print your page on your own printer. We’re not responsible for printers, paper or ink.

Fridge Club uses AI to turn what you type or say into entries. It gets things right most of the time, but it can misunderstand, so give your page a quick look before you print it.

Changes to the service

We’re always improving Fridge Club, so features may change. Things we describe as coming soon, like the meal planner and grocery list, are our plans, not promises about timing. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email you before the change takes effect.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time, and your data will be deleted as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law prevents us.

Liability and the law

[Disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and the governing law and courts or dispute resolution. These clauses carry real legal weight and should be written by your lawyer, so they’re left blank here on purpose.]
