About us

We built the planner we wanted on our own fridge.

Fridge Club is made by Ronald and Hans, two designers who’ve spent fifteen years building apps, and decided the family’s week deserved paper.

Why paper, from two people who make apps

We’ve designed apps for a long time, so we know what screens are good at. Planning is one of them. Being seen by the whole family at breakfast is not.

We both grew up before smartphones, with the week on the fridge. Now one of us is a new dad, deciding what his kid grows up with. We kept coming back to the same picture: a page on the fridge that everyone reads, and phones that stay in pockets.

So we built the easy part as an app and kept the important part on paper. Ten minutes of planning on Sunday, and the rest of the week happens around the kitchen table.
