What we collect
Your account
Your name, email address and password, and the country you’re billed in. If you invite a second grown-up, we collect their name and email too.
Your family’s week
Everything you put into the planner: the names of your family members, events, times, notes, colors, and the pages you create. Family links let others add to your week, and we store what they add along with the link itself.
Payments
Payments are handled by [payment provider]. We see whether a payment went through and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
Basic usage information
Like most websites and apps, we log technical details such as your device type, browser and the pages you visit, to keep Fridge Club working and secure. [We use privacy-friendly analytics that don’t track you across other sites. Confirm the tool.]
How we use it
- To run the planner and lay out your weekly page.
- To handle your subscription and send account emails, like receipts and a reminder before your trial ends.
- To keep your account and our service secure.
- To understand, in aggregate, which features get used, so we know what to improve.
We never use your family’s week to advertise to you, and we never sell it or share it for advertising.
AI and voice
When you type or say something like “Theo has soccer Wednesday at 5,” we use [AI provider] to turn it into an entry on your page. Only the text needed for that is sent, and [our agreement doesn’t allow them to train their models on it. Confirm.]

Who we share it with

Children
Fridge Club accounts are for parents and other adults. When you add your children’s names and activities, you do it as their parent or guardian.
Kids can get a family link to add things to the week. [Family links don’t create an account and don’t ask for any personal information about the child. Confirm how links work.] If you think a child has given us personal information directly, email us and we’ll delete it.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your settings. [Analytics cookies, if any.] We don’t use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your family’s week and account details within [30] days, except for billing records we’re required to keep for tax purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can see, export, correct or delete your information at any time, from your account settings or by emailing us. You can also unsubscribe from anything that isn’t an essential account email.
Depending on where you live, for example in the EU, the UK, California or another US state with privacy laws, you have additional rights, such as asking what we hold about you or objecting to how we use it. The website demo
The “Now you try” demo on our homepage doesn’t save anything you type. If you use its microphone, your browser’s own speech recognition turns your voice into text. In Chrome, for example, that audio is processed by Google. We don’t receive or keep it.
